What Sponsored Spays Does

Our spay and neuter sponsorship program helps pet owners who may not otherwise be able to afford this surgery. By preventing unplanned litters, we reduce shelter overcrowding, improve pet health, and strengthen our community.

What Virtual Advocates Do

 

If you volunteer as an advocate, you'll help spread the word online- kindly, respectfully, and without judgement. 

• Share program information in local community groups

• Respond to posts trying to rehome litters, encouraging them to apply for sponsorship for parent animals

• Help stop the cycle before it starts

You're not shaming or policing- just offering help and hope.

This is a Great Fit If You:

• Love animals but can't foster or volunteer in person

• Are active on Facebook, Nextdoor, or local forums

• Believe prevention can make a difference

Time Commitment: As little or much as you want it to be. Taking a moment each day to leave a comment on a post can save more lives than you would imagine. There are no major commitments here. If you can share, great! If not, jump back in when you're ready.

Training & Support Provided: We will send informational emails, giving guidance and support on how to encourage people to follow through and spay/neuter their pet. We will provide flyers you can share, wording/scripts that are encouraging and supportive you can share, and more. All our communication is done through email.

You don't need a shelter uniform or tons of time- just compassion and connection.
